Forgive me, I haven’t written a wrap up post in a while. October has been a freaking roller coaster- seriously, I had an average reading month, the Thrills and Chills Festival was a success, and COVID took two relatives from me.

Books I read this month:
Hallowe’en Party by Agatha Christie
The Lighthouse Witches by C.J. Cooke
Stalker, Stalked by Lee Andrew Goldberg
My Heart is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones
The Night She Disappeared by Lisa Jewell
Last Girl Ghosted by Lisa Unger
Rock, Paper, Scissors by Alice Feeny
THANK YOU from Thrills and Chills
I’m not gonna lie, I’m glad the Thrills and Chills Festival is over. While it was so much fun to plan and execute, it was also tiring and a lot of work.
Thank you to the authors who participated:
Tessa Wegert
Ashley Winstead
Amanda Jayatissa
Luc Vors
Megan Collins
Samantha Downing
Stephen J. Galgon
Laura Dave
Debbie Babbit
Beverly Lee
Catherine Dang
Alice Feeney

Finally, this month has been especially tough. On October 4th, my aunt was rushed to the ER due to COVID and a mild heart attack- she died without 2 hours later in the holding room.
6 days later, my cousin was admitted with COVID also. He was getting better then all of a sudden his organs started failing and he also died leaving behind a wife (who was in the hospital also at the time), a 12 year old daughter and a 4 year old son (who were both in quarantine).
Due to the COVID laws in the Philippines, bodies have to be cremated days after a death, but the virus has been RAMPANT so there was a waiting list for cremation.
Words cannot express our grief at this shocking turn of events, but I want to thank you all for the positive thoughts and support.
This is SUPER late I know, everything is delayed for me so thank you also for bearing with me!
So sorry for your loss 🖤
