IT HAD TO BE YOU by Eliza Jane Brazier book review and playlist

Guess who thought they had signed up for this blog tour to get an excerpt, but actually didn’t?! That’s right! I did!

Well, the book is out now and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you get it. The audiobook as well (here is my Libro.fm referral link– you get 2 FREE audiobooks when you sign up now!) It’s narrated by January LaVoy and Will Damron- the same narrators that voiced LISTEN TO THE LIE so if you enjoyed that audio, what are you waiting for?

After reading possibly one too many rom-coms and cozy mysteries, going back to a thriller was like a breath of fresh air. The page turning suspense and writing is classic Brazier- I enjoyed GOOD RICH PEOPLE, but this one is my favorite by far. And the banter between Johnathan and Eva? Perfection.

With a thriller, you don’t really expect smut, but with this one there is definite smut. But honestly, it’s kinda classy.

I loved how the setting was Europe. Not a set location, but Paris, Barcelona, Florence and of course, trains. Although there is a lot of Paris.

Johnathan and Eva are both SO unhinged that they are perfect for each other. While this definitely has that romance theme, it’s also a thriller and it’s written by Eliza Jane Brazier, so you are on tender hooks the whole time that you’re reading.

I also made a book playlist:
